James Knows How to Run Business:

Jim Clark founded Silicon Valley technology companies, like Silicon Graphics, Inc., and Netscape Communications Corporation. Of course he is a very rich person. Come on. Don’t argue about it. He is a researcher too. I want to be like him. One of his research work in computer graphics led to the development or creation of systems for the fast and better rendering of computer images in the three-dimensional format. I also choose this person because of his great significance in the development of multimedia and internet. James Clark is also best known as the founder of Netscape. He is also known with the nickname “Jim Clark”. I really cannot imagine using a computer with the same two dimensional feature and internet stuck with the same process -a non interactive format no smart search availability, no semantic web functionality. I was inspired about Jim Clark’s story so much. I have realized that in order to succeed, sometimes we fail but that should not be a hindrance that when proper timing comes, we should grab it and not let go of it. He had endured a very disappointing, hard and difficult childhood. Jim Clark had dropped out of high school because he was being suspended – something which is quite hard for some students, and had spent his four years exposed to electronics in the Navy. I have always loved electronic components but could not find enough inspiration. He began taking night courses at the Tulane University's University College where, despite his lack of a formal high school diploma, he was able to earn enough credits to be admitted to the University of New Orleans. I want to be like him. I want to graduate with positivity. There, Clark earned his Bachelor's and a master's degrees in physics, followed by a PhD in computer science from the University of Utah in 1974. He received the ACM SIGGRAPH Computer Graphics Achievement Award in 1984. He was a recipient of the 1997 Kilby International Awards, which honored him for his computer graphics vision and for enabling networked information exchange. In 1987, Clark was an Award Recipient of the EY Entrepreneur of the Year Award in the Northern California Region because of his entrepreneur skills that greatly contributed to his excellence.
